About the walk
Route that leads over the ups and downs of the ‘Dragons Back’ (shapely mounds that resemble a sleeping dragon). It has the highest point of the Black Mountains, Waun Fach (811 metres) which is the second highest mountain in southern Britain.
Facilities Available
No facilities on the route but lovely Dinas Inn (adjacent to the car park) is just at the start and finish of the trail.
Accessibility
This walk is for everyone who likes low to moderate hiking/mountain trekking. Paths are well marked, and our paw buddies have plenty of space to run and explore!

Why the submitter loves this walk
Bernie and I are all about nature and hiking. We love this particular walk because it offers us a great deal of exercise with fantastic views of the surrounding country side and the beautiful Black Mountains which are within the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) National Park.
