At Woofs and Wellness, we believe in spreading joy and positivity, not just to our furry friends but also to the wonderful organisations that work tirelessly to ensure their well-being, creating a harmonious environment where animals and humans can coexist happily and healthily. We are thrilled to announce our recent collaboration with @rspcablackpoolandnorthlancs RSPCA Blackpool & North Lancashire, a beacon of hope for animals in need. To celebrate this partnership, we sent some of our #shareasmile bandanas to the lovely dogs that are up for rehoming, hoping to bring a smile to their faces and to the faces of their future families.
One such adorable recipient of our bandanas is Toby, a friendly and excitable Lurcher, who is currently looking for a loving home. With his white/light brindle coat and a heart full of love, Toby is a bundle of joy waiting to spread happiness in his forever home.
At 6-12 months old, Toby is still a puppy, exploring and learning about the world around him with boundless energy and a zest for life. He loves being off the lead, doing zoomies in the paddock, and is the perfect companion for someone who loves outdoor adventures and active playtimes. Toby is affectionate and has a fantastic temperament with people, showcasing his loving nature. He’s eager to please, knows several commands, and is particularly fond of food and treats, which can be great motivators during training sessions.
However, Toby is better suited to a home where he will be the only dog. He can be a little unsure when meeting other dogs and is still learning to interact in a polite manner, indicating that he may have missed out on some early socialisation. He is also not suitable to live with cats or smaller animals. Toby could live with children of secondary school age and needs teaching that it’s ok to be alone.
