About the walk
The woodland walk itself is a shorter walk than 5 miles, we started off from Balloch castle country park car park, walked all through the park, passing the castle and the banks of Loch Lomond, beautiful views of the loch. Keep following the path up to whinny hill wood. The woodland is very peaceful with beautiful views all around.
