About the walk
This is another great find. Situated up a short road is a small car park giving two access points to the park. There are different coloured routes to choose from. We started walking next to the stream and then moved to the woodland walk later on. The walk adjacent to the stream has a golf course on the other side with some gaps in the hedges etc where dogs can get through. The woodland walk was challenging in places with lots of steps and some hilly terrain. Worth it to reach the fields and some beautiful views though. Be aware there are cows in some of the areas so please make sure dogs are controlled around them.
Facilities Available
No facilities on site such as refreshments or wcs. There is a bench or two in the park.
Accessibility
The walk along the stream is flat but narrow in places. The Woodland walk would not be accessible for anyone with mobility issues as it is over hilly terrain.
