About the walk
You can take many walks through and around the park. There are pretty riverbanks leading in and out of the park and an abundance of wildlife can be seen along the way.
Facilities Available
Cafe and toilets. Sometimes boats can be found on the lake, usually a summer occasion. There is an old bandstand in the middle of the park and sometimes there are musical events on. There is a play park for children and on the other side of the lake there is a zip line.
Accessibility
If you have a wheelchair or pushchair, you can easily stick to the path and would be able to go all the way round the lake. The park is flat.
Additional Notes
Why the submitter loves this walk
Lots of lovely spaces and scenery. Lots of friendly dogs that like to play with each. Local dogs meet up every Sunday at 10am.
