About the walk
If you start from the church and walk down through the village, you will see a long road on the right- Drayton Road. Follow this for about 5 minutes (you'll see horses along the way!) and you will reach the entrance to Drayton House. Make sure your dog is on a lead as there are often cows and sheep in the fields. From here, you can enjoy a flat peaceful walk through the estate, taking in the sights and the stunning view of Drayton House itself, which is a a country house stooped in so much history and recently featured in the movie 'Saltburn.' As you follow the path round, you will find yet more buildings to admire and will eventually reach a gate which you can go through. Ahead, there are horses in both fields and if you wanted to extend this walk, you can take the path to the left which will lead you to the nearby village of Slipton.
