In 2020 I spent several months in a psychiatric hospital. On the day I was discharged I picked up my little bundle of fluff, Beans. We all view Beans as ‘the dog that saved my life’- no pressure little Beans.
Beans has seen me through some very tough times and never fails to make me feel better. Soon after I picked up my second fur-baby, Olive. Olive’s wonderful demeanour and love for Beans, combined with my love for them both, inspired the ethos of our brand.
That’s why 10% of all profits are donated to mental health charities – currently the Samaritans -, to ensure vital, life-saving services can continue running. The Samaritans are available to ring on 116 123, 365 days a year. I wouldn’t be here without them, my Olive and Beans, or the help of others – both professionals and members of the public.
